Nik’s passion for athletics, health and fitness began when he was introduced to hockey at the age of 5. Born in Fort McMurray and raised in Edmonton, Nik first completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta before returning to the U of A to complete his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Athletics and exercise have always been an important part of Nik’s life. He participated in a wide variety of sports growing up, including basketball, soccer, and baseball. Outside of the clinic, Nik works as a team trainer with the Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association to help manage acute injuries throughout the hockey season.
