Chiropractic Lead - Royal Oak & Seton
Dr. Sebastien has always been passionate about sport and exercise. He grew up playing hockey and snowboarding, and the multitude of associated injuries with ensuing rehabilitation led him to study kinesiology at Queen’s University. While there, he worked as a student athletic therapist for the varsity hockey team, collaborating with various healthcare practitioners to improve the health and performance of high level athletes.
Dr. Sebastien’s experiences were a natural transition to chiropractic; he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has worked with athletes of all levels, pre- and post-surgical patients, and individuals living with chronic pain. He uses an evidence-based, goal-oriented approach to help his patients become the best version of themselves.
After moving frequently throughout his life, Dr. Sebastien is happy to call Calgary his new home. When he’s not in the clinic, he can be found enjoying the mountains, playing hockey, and fumbling around on a guitar.

Nik’s passion for athletics, health and fitness began when he was introduced to hockey at the age of 5. Born in Fort McMurray and raised in Edmonton, Nik first completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta before returning to the U of A to complete his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Athletics and exercise have always been an important part of Nik’s life. He participated in a wide variety of sports growing up, including basketball, soccer, and baseball. However, Nik was most passionate about hockey, with his playing career finishing at the Junior A level in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Nik was first introduced to physiotherapy through his hockey career, and it was here that his frustration with his own rehab motivated him to become a physiotherapist. He has a strong interest in helping individuals decrease pain and achieve performance goals through building the required strength, control, mobility, and confidence.
Outside of the clinic, Nik works as a team trainer with the Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association to help manage acute injuries throughout the hockey season. Since finishing his own playing career, Nik is an avid golfer, and considers himself a “hybrid athlete” incorporating both strength training and running into his own training. He is passionate about helping individuals understand the capabilities of their bodies and looks forward to helping patients return to the activities they love.

Chris was born and raised in Calgary and has been a lifelong weekend warrior and student of movement. Chris studied accounting and worked in the financial sector prior to becoming a full-time Strength Coach and Massage Therapist, and having the opportunity to become a partner of TREC FIT LAB, a local gym in NW Calgary.
Having dabbled in sports growing up, Chris finally found a passion for movement modalities in yoga, running, and lifting weights. It wasn’t until he was introduced to CrossFit that he found his love for Olympic Weightlifting where he then represented Team Alberta at the Canadian Senior Weightlifting Nationals in 2015.
As a lover of movement, you can still find Chris doing yoga, spin, running half marathons, competing in Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit competitions, and now learning how to properly swim to broaden his fitness scope.
Chris’ passion as Strength Coach and Massage Therapist has provided him opportunities to work with everyone from office workers to world class athletes in the gym, clinic, and through speaking engagements. This has allowed Chris to educate them on the importance of movement and help bridge the gap between rehab and exercise.
